On Wednesday, April 09, the Head of the White House, during a conversation with journalists in the Oval Office, noted that a potential agreement on the allocation of American TikTok assets is still "on the table" a few days after it was suspended.
We have an agreement with some very good people, some very rich companies that will do a great job with it, but we'll have to wait and see what happens with China.
The American president added that it (the TikTok deal) is still "on the table."
At the same time, White House reporter Philip Wegmann wrote on his X page that "China is not thrilled with its signing."
