Trump accused Hamas of resuming hostilities in Gaza

The administration of US President Donald Trump blames Hamas directly for the escalation of violence in the Middle East. The corresponding statement stated that this organization "chose war" and bears "full responsibility" for the consequences, UNN reports with reference to CNN.

It should be noted that the White House statement appeared against the background of the resumption of the Israeli army's ground offensive in Gaza.

Hamas could have released the hostages to extend the truce, but instead chose war. These terrorists are fully responsible for this conflict and the resumption of hostilities

Hamas fired rockets from Gaza into Israel on Thursday, the first response by militants to Israel's renewed offensive in the strip. This put an end to a two-month truce.

Israel accuses Hamas of new hostilities for refusing to accept revised ceasefire terms. The militants, for their part, accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of unilaterally violating the truce. The Gaza Ministry of Health reported that more than 400 people were killed in airstrikes on Tuesday.
