The Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council is recording the spread in the Czech information space of claims about the negative consequences of Ukraine's strikes on russia. These narratives are being disseminated by resources that Czech researchers classify as sources of pro-Kremlin propaganda.
In the Czech information space, claims are being circulated about the alleged negative consequences of Ukrainian strikes on Russian territory and the futility of supporting Ukraine. Such messages appear on resources that Czech research organizations associate with disinformation and pro-Kremlin propaganda. This was reported by the National Security and Defense Council’s Center for Countering Disinformation, UNN writes.
The Center is recording the spread of pro-Russian narratives in the Czech information space through a number of resources affiliated with Russian propaganda
In particular, claims are being promoted that strikes deep inside Russia allegedly "worsen Ukraine’s strategic position and provoke further escalation of the conflict," and that "the only thing Ukraine and its partners have achieved is worsening Ukraine’s tragic fate," among others.
The resources spreading these narratives, predominantly of an far-right ideological orientation, belong to the segment of quasi-media outlets and information platforms that independent Czech research organizations systematically classify as sources of disinformation and pro-Kremlin propaganda.
By using such resources, the Kremlin is trying to influence public opinion in the Czech Republic, foment hatred toward Ukrainians in the country, and obstruct the provision of assistance to our state
