An AI-generated photo allegedly showing a sign in a taxi in Warsaw calling on Ukrainians not to speak Ukrainian is being circulated online. The image turned out to be fake, created to discredit Ukrainians in Poland and fuel tensions in Ukrainian-Polish relations. This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, UNN writes.
An AI-generated photo of a sign allegedly spotted in one of the taxis in Warsaw is being circulated online: "You can speak Ukrainian on foot," implying that Ukrainians are supposedly not welcome in Poland
In fact, this is a fake generated using neural network tools. This was confirmed by checking the image with special programs for detecting forgeries and fakes.
Russian propagandists deliberately resort to such manipulations to distort public opinion and artificially stir up tensions in Ukrainian-Polish relations, - the CCD added.
