The majority of electricity is generated at NPPs: the Minister thanked Ukrainian nuclear workers for their selfless work

Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko said that nuclear power plants generate up to 60% of electricity in Ukraine. He thanked Energoatom employees for their professionalism and selfless work in difficult times for the country.
Ukraine's energy system is based on nuclear power, even with the Zaporizhzhya NPP occupied. This was stated by Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko during a working visit to Khmelnytsky NPP.

"Today we can say that up to 60% of the country's electricity is generated by nuclear power plants. Even with the occupied Zaporizhzhya NPP," emphasized Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko.
During his working visit to Khmelnytsky NPP, the official thanked the nuclear workers for their professionalism and selfless work.
"Ukraine should be proud of its people, its highly qualified Energoatom employees, who have repeatedly proved, are proving and will continue to prove in the future that they are ready to work selflessly to keep the system in difficult times for the country, to give people electricity, to ensure energy security of the entire country," summarized Herman Halushchenko.
