At the Luzhanka – Beregshuran checkpoint, registration of trucks weighing up to 7.5 tons has begun. the movement of empty bulky vehicles without weight restrictions is also allowed.
On the Ukrainian-Hungarian border, the Luzhanka – Beregshuran checkpoint has launched registration of trucks, UNN reports with reference to The State Customs Service of Ukraine.
Today, December 2, as part of a bilateral international meeting at the Luzhanka – Beregshuran checkpoint on the Ukrainian-Hungarian border, the official launch and registration of the first truck took place
Customs officers recalled that earlier the governments of Ukraine and Hungary signed agreements to expand the operation of this checkpoint across the state border for the movement of cargo vehicles.
The parties agreed to move trucks with a permissible weight of up to 7.5 tons, as well as empty bulky vehicles from the customs territory of Ukraine without weight restrictions.
In addition, the agreement provides, in particular, for the opening of a new checkpoint "Velika Palad – Nagygodosh" for automobile and passenger traffic (except buses); the development of the Customs and border infrastructure of the checkpoint "Zvonkovo-Lonya" (for cargo vehicles); to increase the capacity of the checkpoint "chop – Zahon" – the construction of a bridge over the Tisa River.
