On the night of May 3, air defense shot down 249 out of more than 260 enemy drones. Hits from a ballistic missile and 19 drones were recorded in 15 different locations.
On the night of May 3, the enemy attacked Ukraine with a ballistic missile and over 260 drones. As reported by the Air Force, a ballistic missile hit and 19 strike UAVs were recorded, while the remaining targets were destroyed, UNN reports.
On the night of May 3 (from 19:00 on May 2), the adversary attacked with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Kursk region - RF, 268 strike UAVs of the Shahed type (including jet-powered ones), Gerbera, Italmas, and drones of other types from the directions of: Kursk, Shatalovo, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF, occupied Gvardiyske, Chauda – occupied Crimea, occupied Donetsk; over 160 of them were "Shaheds".
The aerial attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As reported by the Air Force, according to preliminary data as of 08:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 249 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types and drones of other types in the north, south, west, and east of the country.
A ballistic missile hit and 19 strike UAVs were recorded at 15 locations, as well as the fall of downed drones (debris) at 1 location.
The Air Force added that the attack is ongoing, with several enemy UAVs still in the airspace.
