According to Syrskyi, today the Military Law Enforcement Service performs much broader functions than just control or response to violations. This includes ensuring legality, maintaining discipline, countering offenses, and preserving stability in the military environment.
Separately, the Commander-in-Chief noted the strengthening of the service's combat capabilities.
In an extremely short time, special purpose units were formed and scaled up, which today perform anti-sabotage tasks in areas of active hostilities.
He emphasized that the professionalism and determination of the military law enforcement officers proved the service's ability to act not only as a law enforcement agency but also as an effective combat component.
Syrskyi also thanked current servicemen and veterans who returned to duty after the start of the full-scale invasion.
Separately, he honored the memory of military law enforcement officers who died in the struggle for Ukraine's independence.
I am grateful to every military law enforcement officer for their service, professionalism, endurance, and dedication to their chosen cause. We will win!
