Sweden and the Nordic-Baltic countries are asking the European Commission to provide proposals to speed up Ukraine's accession to the EU. Hungary is threatening to block negotiations until the rights of the Hungarian minority are resolved.
Sweden, together with the Nordic-Baltic countries, has appealed to the European Commission to provide proposals for advancing the process of Ukraine's accession to the EU, according to a statement from the Swedish Embassy in Ukraine on social network X, writes UNN.
Hungary should not slow down negotiations on Ukraine's membership in the EU. Our Minister for EU Affairs and her colleagues from the Nordic-Baltic countries have appealed to the European Commission to provide concrete proposals for advancing the process of Ukraine's accession to the EU.
