Russian occupants shelled 12 communities in Sumy region 28 times, recording 167 explosions, using a variety of weapons, including artillery, mortars, MLRS, drones and helicopters.

Russian invaders shelled the border settlements of Sumy region 28 times. Residents of 12 communities came under enemy fire. The situation in the region was reported by the Sumy RMA, UNN reports.

During the day, Russians fired 28 times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy region. 167 explosions were recorded. Mykolaiv, Khotyn, Yunakiv, Bilopil, Miropil, Krasnopil, Velykopysariv, Putivl, Novoslobid, Shalyhyne, Esman, Seredyno-Budska communities were shelled.

Russians attacked Putivl and Novosloboda communities with mines.

The enemy attacked the residents of Velykopysarivska community with MLRS as well as FPV and  Lancet drones. Residents of Krasnopilska and Yunakivska communities were also visited by enemy UAVs that dropped explosive ordnance.

The invaders attacked the Esman community  with NAR missiles from a helicopter.

The enemy attacked Bilopillia with artillery, AGS grenade launchers and mortars. And the Russian army attacked Mykolaivka ATC with artillery and MLRS.

Residents of the Shalyhyne community were shelled by Russians with artillery and mortars. The occupiers also launched artillery attacks on the Khotyn community.

The enemy hit Seredyna-Buda with mortars, NAR missiles and  FPV drones. And in Myropillia, the Russians fired from an FPV drone and artillery.
