Russians attacked four populated communities in Sumy region using aircraft, artillery, grenade launchers and small arms, resulting in 19 explosions.
On the night of March 28 and this morning, Russian troops fired five times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy region. In particular, they attacked with guided aerial bombs. 19 explosions were recorded. This was reported on Thursday by the Sumy RMA, according to UNN.
Reportedly, Yunakivska, Bilopilska, Velykopysarivska and Esmanska communities of the region were subjected to hostile attacks.
Yunakivska gromada: an air attack with the launch of guided aerial bombs (UAB) from a tactical aircraft (2 explosions).
Esman community: small arms fire was recorded.
Velykopysarivska community: the enemy fired from artillery (14 explosions).
Bilopilska community: a grenade launcher attack (3 explosions) was carried out.

On March 27, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy inspected the construction of fortifications near the city of Sumy.
Zelenskyy also held a coordination meeting on the security and socio-economic situation in Sumy region.
