outside of customs control for a total amount of more than UAH 40 million.
The State Customs Service
initiated a number of disciplinary proceedings and applied disciplinary
to 17 customs officers. The head of the customs office, who was acting at the time
head of the Chernivtsi customs office, was dismissed from his post.
