Six Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions have been returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine. This was reported by Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets, UNN reports.
We managed to return 6 Ukrainian children from the TOT to their homeland. Families with children from Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions are now in safety, which was sorely lacking
According to the parents, their children were forced to attend a Russian school and celebrate Russian holidays, and were pressured to obtain Russian-issued documents. In addition, armed Russians broke into the families' homes and conducted unreasonable searches, Lubinets said.
The Ombudsman reminded that if your child has disappeared and you, as his or her legal representative, do not know his or her whereabouts, you should inform the National Police of Ukraine by calling 102. If you are convinced that your child has been deported to Russia or is in the TOT, you should notify the Ombudsman's Office in addition to the police.
