Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal discussed strategic cooperation with Australian Minister of Defense Richard Marles, focusing on strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities and creating the preconditions for further success on the battlefield, with Australia providing over $655 million in support, including $540 million in military aid.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal discussed a wide range of issues of strategic cooperation with Australian Defense Minister Richard Marlesle. Shmyhal said this during a press conference in Lviv, an UNN correspondent reports.
We discussed a wide range of strategic cooperation issues with Mr. Marlesle. I am confident that our partnership is long-term and has great prospects for development. Currently, in the military aspect, we are focused on strengthening Ukraine's defense and creating preconditions for Ukraine's further success on the battlefield
Shmyhal noted that Australia's support for Ukraine already amounts to more than $655 million, of which $540 million is military aid.
