SES introduces application to provide emergency assistance to people with hearing impairments

The State Emergency Service and the Social Unity Movement have launched a project to help deaf Ukrainians get help in an emergency.

The State Emergency Service and the Social Movement "Social Unity" have implemented a project that will help Ukrainians with hearing impairments to get help in an emergency, UNN reports.

Now every person with a hearing impairment who suffered as a result of of military operations or natural disasters, or simply in danger, can apply for help to the SES Rescue Service absolutely free of charge, using the mobile application "ZhM Translator"

In the "SOS" section of the application, a special SES shortcut has appeared through which connects to a sign language interpreter that provides communication with rescuers.

To get help, you need to download the application "ASL Translator" from the App Store or Google Play, open the application and go to the "SOS" section, click on the SES label, connect with a sign language interpreter and report your location and situation.
