Scammers disguise themselves as "Diia" – Ukrainians warned of new phishing scheme
Kyiv • UNN
Scammers created a fake Diia website to steal data through a fraudulent application. The official service team has already blocked this malicious resource.

Cybercriminals have created a phishing site masquerading as the "Diia" state service, using a domain similar to the official one. This was reported by UNN with reference to the official Telegram channel of the public services portal.
Through the fake resource, they attempted to trick citizens into downloading a fraudulent application to gain access to their personal data.

In a Telegram post, service representatives noted that scammers urged users to install a supposedly official application via a browser, even though the real "Diia" is only available through official app stores.

The public services team also emphasized that the application can be downloaded exclusively via the App Store and Google Play, and the only official portal for the service remains the "Diia" website.
Citizens were urged to follow basic digital security rules:
- do not follow suspicious links;
- do not download files from unknown resources;
- carefully check website addresses before entering any personal data.
Representatives of the administrative services mobile app also noted that cybercriminals are constantly devising new ways to extract information, so critical thinking and vigilance remain the most effective defense against fraud in the digital environment.
As a reminder
Earlier, we wrote that scammers in Ukraine are sending messages allegedly on behalf of state structures, demanding age verification to maintain pension payments. This is a new fraudulent "scheme" using messengers to gain access to Ukrainians' personal data and the money in their accounts.
