SAP completed the investigation into MP Anna Skorokhod in the case of NSDC sanctions

The SAP prosecutor decided to complete the pre-trial investigation in the case concerning People's Deputy Anna Skorokhod, who is involved in the case of $250,000 for resolving the issue of applying NSDC sanctions. This was reported by the SAP press service, reports UNN.

The SAP prosecutor decided to complete the pre-trial investigation in the case concerning a People's Deputy of Ukraine. According to the investigation, she organized the activities of a criminal group, becoming the "guarantor" of an agreement on applying NSDC sanctions against a competitor company

Currently, NABU detectives, on the instructions of the prosecutor, have opened the case materials to the defense side for review.

Within the pre-trial investigation, it was established that members of the criminal group offered a representative of a businessman $250,000 to resolve the issue of applying sanctions against a competitor company. The individuals claimed they had the ability to ensure the adoption of sanction decisions through officials of state authorities, in particular the NSDC. The "guarantor" of such a decision was the People's Deputy.

After paying part of the funds, namely $125,000, which were transferred through the execution of loan receipts, the "client" received assurances that this money would be received by NSDC officials. They also provided a photo of the sanctions list appendix as confirmation of their actions. Despite the provision of undue advantage, the actual transfer of funds to NSDC officials did not occur, and accordingly, the required decision on sanctions was not adopted

The actions of the criminal group members are qualified under Part 4 of Article 27, Part 4 of Article 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

After investigative actions at the residence of People's Deputy Anna Skorokhod, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office reported the exposure of the MP in the case of $250,000 for resolving the issue of applying NSDC sanctions and stated that all exposed individuals have been notified of suspicion.
