According to preliminary reports, 8 people were killed and 15 injured as a result of a Russian missile attack on Kyiv, and rescue operations are underway in several districts of the city.
In Kyiv, as a result of a morning missile attack by Russian troops, 8 people were killed and 15 others were injured, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported, UNN writes.

Rescue operations reportedly continue in Podilskyi, Desnianskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Holosiivskyi, Dniprovskyi, Solomianskyi, Darnytskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi districts of the city.
"Shevchenkivskyi district: the fire on the area of 1500 square meters was extinguished at 11:55. Unfortunately, 5 people died and 4 were injured. The injured were handed over to doctors for further hospitalization," the SES said.
213 rescuers and 43 units of basic and special fire and rescue equipment are working at the scene.
