Russian troops shelled 14 communities in Sumy region, causing 247 explosions. Air strikes, artillery, mortars, and drones were used, with Bilopil and Krasnopil communities suffering the most.
During the day, Russians fired 71 times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy region, 247 explosions were recorded. This was reported by the Sumy RMA, according to UNN.

It is noted that the Khotyn, Yunakiv, Bilopil, River, Krasnopil, Velykopysariv, Novoslobid, Putivl, Hlukhiv, Shalyhyne, Esman, Druzhbiv, Znob-Novgorod, Seredina-Bud communities were shelled.
- Bilopilska community: air strikes by CAB (2 explosions), mortar shelling (15 explosions), artillery (3 explosions), FPV drone strikes (5 explosions).
- Khotyn community: KAB air strikes were recorded (2 explosions).
- Hlukhiv community: there was an air strike by the KAB (1 explosion).
- Esman community: the enemy conducted an air strike with a UAV (1 explosion), an FPV drone (1 explosion), mortar shelling (2 explosions) and artillery (8 explosions).
- Shalyhyne community: FPV drone strikes (7 explosions), artillery shelling (6 explosions).
- Velykopysarivska community: FPV drone strikes (8 explosions), mortar shelling (48 explosions), artillery (5 explosions), and UAV drops of explosive ordnance (8 explosions) were recorded.
- Krasnopilska community: Russians attacked with AGS (5 explosions), mortars (56 explosions) and conducted air strikes with CABs (2 explosions), FPV drone strikes (9 explosions).
- Novoslobidska community: there was an air strike by the KAB (3 explosions), mortar shelling (6 explosions).
- Seredyno-Budska community: the enemy fired from MLRS (4 explosions) and artillery (6 explosions).
- Druzhbivka community: Russians dropped 2 mines on the territory of the community.
- Znob-Novhorod community: there was artillery shelling (6 explosions), shelling with an automatic grenade launcher (20 explosions).
- Rechkivska community: a KAB air strike was recorded.
- Putivl community: The enemy dropped 5 mines on the territory of the community.
- Yunakivska community: an air strike by the KAB (1 explosion).

4300 people have been evacuated from the 20-km zone of Sumy region , and this number is growing. It is planned to strengthen control at checkpoints and expand the list of settlements with mandatory evacuation due to the increase in shelling.
