Russians launched 55 attacks on Easter, April 12 - General Staff

Since the beginning of April 12 - Easter Sunday - Russians have carried out 55 attacks on the front. This was reported by UNN with reference to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Details

The enemy shelled border areas. In Sumy region, the settlements of Tovstodubove, Iskriskivshchyna, and Bachivsk were affected.

The situation on the front line as of 4:00 PM was as follows:

In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out nine shellings of settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops.

In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy tried seven times to improve its position in the areas of Synelnykove, Starytsia, Izbytske, and Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy conducted assault operations twice in the areas of Petropavlivka and Podoly.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled two attempts by the invaders to advance towards Lyman.

In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy attacked four times towards Ozerne, Kalenyky, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked once in the area of Markove.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, the invaders carried out 11 attacks near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Novopavlivka, and Kucheriv Yar.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have tried 14 times to dislodge the Defense Forces from their occupied positions in the areas of Bilytske, Rodynske, Myrnograd, Zatyshok, Hryshyne, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Molodetske, Muravka, Novopavlivka.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked five times towards the settlements of Zelenyi Hai, Oleksandrograf, Sichneve, Kalynivske, and Verbove.

In the Huliaipole direction, there were nine attacks towards the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the areas of Zaliznychne, Staroukrainka, Myrny, Varvarivka, and Huliaipilske.

In the Orikhiv and Prydniprovsky directions, the occupiers did not conduct assault operations.

Russian occupiers, taking advantage of the Easter truce on April 12, began massively transporting equipment from the Berdyansk direction to the north of Donetsk region. The enemy is moving equipment without even hiding it.
