The Russian Navy has formed the first unmanned systems regiment as part of the Northern Fleet. It is planned to create additional regiments and include a similar structure in the Pacific Fleet in 2027.

Analysts point to a statement made the day before by the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Alexander Moiseev, according to whom the Russian Navy has formed its first regiment of unmanned systems as part of the Northern Fleet and plans to form additional regiments of unmanned systems and include a similar structure in the Pacific Fleet of Russia by 2027.
