Russia reports shooting down 26 Ukrainian drones over Crimea and the Sea of Azov

Russia's Defense Ministry claims to have shot down 26 Ukrainian drones over the Sea of Azov and Crimea, reporting attempted UAV attacks on Russian territory.

Last night, Russian air defense allegedly shot down 22 Ukrainian drones over the Sea of Azov and Crimea at around 5 a.m. and another four UAVs around 6:00 am. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Russian Defense Ministry, according to UNN.

It is noted that an attempt to carry out a a terrorist attack by an airplane-type UAV on objects on the territory of the Russian Federation. Ukrainian air defense systems destroyed 22 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed and another 13 intercepted over the Sea of Azov.

An hour later, the Ministry of Defense announced the downing of four more Ukrainian drones and the interception of two more drones over the Sea of Azov.
