The Russians began to use more advanced long-range UAVs, which complicates the work of Ukrainian air defense. The enemy is changing tactics, launching synchronized strikes from a high altitude.

The Russians have started using new tactics during drone attacks against Ukraine. An increasing number of enemy UAVs are managing to break through the air defense forces, UNN writes with reference to the ISW report.
Details
Russian forces are using more advanced long-range drones, which complicates Ukrainian air defense operations and allows more drones to penetrate Ukraine's air defense system.
The Institute reported that, according to the German publication BILD, Russia has intensified and adjusted the use of long-range strike drones, which makes it difficult for Ukrainian forces to intercept them.

The publication noted that recently more and more Russian drones have been successfully breaking through the Ukrainian air defense system and that Russian troops have changed their tactics and now drones hover a few kilometers from targets at high altitude before launching synchronized strikes with several drones.
It is worth noting that the main targets for the Russians remain the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine.
Currently, Ukrainian officials have not yet commented on any changes in Russian strike tactics.
