Russia carried out 110 attacks on Ukrainian positions: the hottest spot was in the Kurakhove sector

Today, the enemy attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 110 times, especially actively in the Kurakhove direction, UNN reports, citing the General Staff.

The enemy continues its attempts to advance deeper into the territory of Ukraine, having already launched 110 attacks on the positions of the Defense Forces. The highest activity is observed at the Kurakhove and Pokrovske directions, where more than half of all attacks took place 

According to the General Staff, the border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions remain under constant artillery fire from Russian troops - the settlements of Khrinivka, Grabovske, Volfyne, Volodymyrivka, Zhuravka, Mkhy, Obody, Luhivka, Zaliznyi Mist, Pavlivka, Khotiyivka and Chuykivka were affected. Enemy aircraft struck Bratenytsia, Zhuravka, Novenke and Basivka. Ukraine also recorded 17 enemy air strikes on its territory in the Kursk region, where 25 guided aerial bombs were launched.

In the Kharkiv sector, Russian troops twice tried to advance near Vovchansk, but were rebuffed.

In the Kupyansk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled eleven enemy attacks, including in the areas of Holubivka, Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Kolisnykivka, Berestove, Zahryzove, Kruhlyakivka, Vyshneve and Pershotravneve.

In the Liman sector, the enemy continues to attack near Hrekivka, Terny and Dibrova. Since the beginning of the day, our troops have repelled seven of the nine enemy attacks, and the fighting continues. Russian troops conducted air strikes in the area of Serebryansky forest.

In the Toretsk sector, four enemy attacks took place near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka, two of which were successfully repelled. The enemy conducted air strikes in the areas of Druzhba, Toretsk and Petrivka.

In the Pokrovsky sector, 19 attacks on Ukrainian forces' positions in the areas of Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Promin, Sukhyi Yar, Novohrodivka and Vyshneve were registered since the beginning of the day. The occupants concentrated most of their efforts near Promin and Vyshneve, where all attacks were repelled.

The Kurakhove sector remains the hottest, with 54 combat engagements recorded. The invaders are particularly active in the areas of Vovchenka, Hrizne and Antonivka, with eight battles still ongoing.

In the Vremivsk sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian troops' positions nine times near Trudove and Maksymivka, two firefights are ongoing.

In the Orikhivsk sector, the enemy conducted air strikes on Yurkivka, Novodanylivka and Mala Tokmachka, dropping eight guided missiles.

No changes have been recorded in other areas at the moment.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reportedthat this week the Russian army conducted massive strikes in Ukraine, using more than 900 bombs, 30 missiles and almost 500 drones. Most of the attacks were aimed at civilian targets.
