On the night of July 27, Russia's Bryansk region suffered a large-scale drone attack that lasted for an hour. According to the governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz, Russian air defense forces allegedly shot down all 12 drones that attacked different areas of the region, UNN reports .

The Russian Ministry of Defense later confirmed the attack, but claimed to have shot down 21 drones.
According to Bohomaz, 12 drones were shot down within an hour in different districts of the region: six in Vygonitsa district, three in Trubchevsky district, and one each in Karachevsky, Brassovsky, and Bryansk districts. He assured that there were no casualties or damage, and emergency services were working on the ground.
