Regarding Ukraine, Rubio says that Kyiv is "getting more support than ever" thanks to the PURL program.

As noted by The Independent, the US Secretary of State defended the Trump administration's actions regarding the sale of weapons to allies to be provided to Ukraine through the PURL initiative, emphasizing the value of the military alliance for NATO.

"I understand Nato’s valuable to Europe, and it should be," he said, adding: "It also has to be valuable to the United States."

The Independent reminds that Donald Trump has withdrawn the direct support for Ukraine that was provided during the Biden administration since returning to office last year.
