Rada strips Tsabal of his mandate and determines who will replace him in the "Holos" party

The Verkhovna Rada has terminated the powers of MP Volodymyr Tsabal following his resignation request. Political scientist Mykola Davydiuk will become the new MP from the Holos party.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has voted for the early termination of the powers of MP Volodymyr Tsabal from the "Holos" party. This was reported by UNN with reference to Member of Parliament Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
Details
257 MPs voted in favor. Zheleznyak added that political scientist Mykola Davydiuk is next on the "Holos" party list to enter parliament.
Context
Volodymyr Tsabal was elected as a Member of Parliament of Ukraine from the "Holos" party on August 29, 2019. On April 24, 2026, he submitted an application to resign his mandate.
Recall
On May 18, Stepan Kubiv, a Member of Parliament of Ukraine of the ninth convocation, passed away. He was elected as an MP under No. 12 on the "European Solidarity" party list in the 2019 extraordinary parliamentary elections.
Subsequently, the Central Election Commission recognized Denys Pyatygorets as the elected Member of Parliament of Ukraine following the death of Stepan Kubiv, an MP from the "European Solidarity" faction.
