Zelenskyy reported that Putin plans to quickly mobilize hundreds of thousands of Russians after the elections. Ukraine is preparing to complicate the implementation of these plans.
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin plans an additional rapid mobilization of several hundred thousand Russians by the end of the year after the so-called elections, plus the same number for the following year. Ukraine, for its part, is preparing to make it as difficult as possible for Russia to implement such plans. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this, UNN reports.

According to Zelenskyy, there was a report from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Oleh Ivashchenko, on preparations for Russian mobilization. Everything is confirmed by internal Russian documents—they are preparing it for the autumn, immediately after the imitation of parliamentary elections.
Putin's plan is not particularly complicated: he wants to portray it as though Russians supposedly support the war—precisely because all the parties currently allowed to participate are, in one way or another, against peace. And then, after the so-called elections, he plans an additional rapid mobilization of several hundred thousand Russians by the end of the year, plus the same number for the following year. This is in addition to the recruitment they are trying to fulfill through contracts
At the same time, Zelenskyy said that preparations were underway "for our active actions, to make it as difficult as possible for Russia to implement such plans".
