The Parliament plans to dismiss 7 members of the Accounting Chamber due to the expiration of their term of office, not 1, as previously planned.

At its next meeting, the Verkhovna Rada will consider dismissing seven members of the Accounting Chamber due to the expiration of their term of office, and not one, as previously planned. This was reported by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, UNN reports.

Instead of dismissing one member of the Accounting Chamber, 7 members will be dismissed at once due to the expiration of their term of office. The relevant decision was made by the Budget Committee today and is still to be voted on by the Parliament

- Zheleznyak said.

He clarified that on March 15 this year, the term of office of seven members of the Accounting Chamber expired, including Viktor Bohun, Andriy Didyk, Vasyl Nevidomyi, Iryna Ivanova, Caesar Ogon, Ihor Yaremchuk and Andriy Maisner.

Zheleznyak noted that the Accounting Chamber has 5 members left, but they will still be able to make decisions.

Zheleznyak reminded that according to the Law "On the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine", the term of office of the Chamber members is 6 years, and the same person cannot hold such a position for more than two terms.

Addendum

They will remain members of the Accounting Chamber: Kyrylo Klymenko, Serhiy Kliuchka, Hennadiy Plis, Yelyzaveta Pushko-Tsybulyak and the Chairman of the Accounting Chamber Olha Pishchanska.
