Over 10 Russian refineries halted operations due to AFU attacks in May 2026 - "Madyar"

During the first 20 days of May 2026, the AFU struck over 10 Russian oil refining facilities. Operations were suspended at plants in Moscow, Ryazan, Tuapse and other cities.

During the 20 days of May 2026, the Defense Forces of Ukraine (including the Unmanned Systems Forces) destroyed or damaged at least 10 Russian oil refining enterprises, including plants and stations. This was reported on Telegram by the Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the AFU Robert "Madyar" Brovdi, according to UNN.

Brovdi also added that during May, numerous oil pumping and linear-production dispatch stations in the Nizhny Novgorod, Ryazan, and Yaroslavl regions of Russia were hit.
