At the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris on August 6, Ukrainians will compete in rowing, climbing, wrestling, and athletics. Ukraine ranks 18th in the medal standings. This was reported by the NOC of Ukraine, UNN writes.

"Today, August 6, on the 11th day of the XXXIII Olympic Games in Paris, representatives of the national team of Ukraine will compete in 4 sports," the NOC said.
The schedule of performances is based on Kyiv time:
Kayaking and canoeing
10:30 - Men's kayak four 500m preliminary heats: Oleg Kukharyk, Dmytro Danilenko, Ihor Trunov, Ivan Semykin
12:00 - women's sculls, preliminary heats, 500 m double sculls: Liudmyla Luzan, Anastasiia Rybachok
12:30 - Men's kayak double 500 m preliminary heats: Oleg Kukharyk, Igor Trunov
Rock climbing
11:00 - women, 1/2 finals, bullfighting: Evgeniya Kazbekova
14:00 - men's qualifying, speed: Yaroslav Tkach
Wrestling (weight class up to 50 kg)
12:00 - women, 1/8 finals: Oksana Livach
Athletics
12:50 - Men's javelin qualification: Arthur Felfner

Results of the competition day on August 5
On the tenth day of the XXXIII Olympic Games in Paris, representatives of the Ukrainian national team competed in 6 sports. Ilya Kovtun added one silver medal to Ukraine's medal tally.
Artistic gymnastics
For the first time in his career, Ilya Kovtun reached the Olympic podium, becoming a silver medalist in the parallel bars (his score was 15.500).
Oleg Vernyaev finished eighth in this final (13.300).
Trap shooting (25 m rapid fire pistol)
Pavlo Korostylov took fifth place in the final.
Diving (10 m tower)
Sophia Lyskun showed the 25th result (253.10) and failed to qualify for the semifinals, which consisted of 18 athletes.
Athletics
In the 400 m hurdles, Anna Ryzhykova finished second in the consolation heat with a time of 54.95 seconds and qualified for the semifinals. Viktoriia Tkachuk, who finished seventh in her consolation heat (59.40), stopped competing.
Oleksandr Pohorilko did not qualify for the semifinals, finishing third in his consolation 400m race with a time of 45.59 seconds.
Wrestling (weight class up to 68 kg)
Tatiana Sova-Rizhko lost to India's Nisha Nisha 4-6 in the 1/8 finals, and without a chance for a consolation match due to her opponent's subsequent defeat, she ended her performance at the Games.
Kayak slalom (kayak cross)
The only representative of Ukraine in the rowing slalom, Viktoriia Us, stopped in the last of the three disciplines, kayak cross, at the quarterfinals, taking third place in her race.
"In the medal standings, with seven awards (2 gold, 2 silver, 3 bronze), Ukraine ranks 18th," the NOC said.
