The head of the occupation "administration" of the Zaporizhzhia region, Yevhen Balytskyi, has canceled this year's "Immortal Regiment" and the "Victory Parade" on May 9 in the region. He wrote about this on social media, UNN reports.

Details

As the gauleiter noted, the reason is the "threat from Ukrainian drones."

"In order to ensure security, mass festive events on May 9 in the Zaporizhzhia region will be restricted. We will not hold a victory parade or the mass 'Immortal Regiment' march,"

- stated the traitor of Ukraine and head of the Russian occupation "administration" of the Zaporizhzhia region.

Instead, he suggested that residents of the occupied part of the region lay flowers at graves and congratulate veterans.

"Even under conditions of temporary restrictions, nothing will prevent us from celebrating Victory Day - the main holiday of our lives,"

- he added.
