Today, on the third Sunday of July, everyone can join the celebration of the Day without Swimsuits, UNN reports.

The event was launched by the Federation of Naturists (nudists) of Spain for Spaniards and tourists visiting the country. The initiative was a success, and at the World Naturist Congress in Italy in 2010, it was decided to celebrate No Swimsuit Day internationally.

Together with International Nude Swimming Day and International Nudist Day, this is another event that promotes tolerance of the naked body.

Also, on July 21, you can join the events dedicated to the International Junk Food Day.

Unhealthy foods contain excessive amounts of fat, carbohydrates, sugar, and salt, while containing very few nutrients: vitamins, minerals, and dietary fiber.

Junk food includes hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries and almost all fast food, sugary carbonated drinks such as Coca-Cola, candy, cakes, donuts, various snacks, and so on.

At some point in time, fast food became incredibly popular in many countries, especially in the United States. At the same time, health problems among people who abuse it increased: obesity, cardiovascular problems, diabetes, etc.

In the 70s of the last century, research proved that fast food and sweets have a negative impact on the human body. It was then that the term "junk food" was coined, and various initiatives on the need for healthy eating began to spread around the world.

On the one hand, the International Junk Food Day is a reminder that the diet should be as healthy as possible for the human body, and on the other hand, at least on this day you can indulge in some junk food.

On the third Sunday of July, employees of the metallurgical and mining industries celebrate their professional holiday in Ukraine.

According to the church calendar, today is the Day of Remembrance of St. Simeon and John.

They both lived in the sixth century, were preachers and theologians, led an ascetic lifestyle, and had the gift of healing and prophecy.

Semen and Ivan celebrate their name days today.
