As stated on the website of the Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands, the drones are manufactured in the Netherlands and Ukraine.
"Drones play a crucial role on the modern battlefield. Ukrainians use them with incredible skill to repel continuous Russian attacks. They are very successful in doing so. Thanks to good cooperation with Ukraine, we are directly learning from this. This also opens up opportunities for our business community. Close cooperation with Ukraine thus creates a direct win-win situation for both countries," said Yeşilgöz-Zegerius.
The Netherlands has contributed, among other things, to the so-called "Drone Line" initiative. As a result, hundreds of thousands of drones have become available to Ukrainian soldiers on the front lines.
According to the minister, it is logical that a lot of attention is now focused on the situation in the Middle East, "however, it should not be forgotten that the war in Ukraine has an even greater impact on security in Europe, and therefore on the Netherlands.
"Therefore, it is important that we continue to support Ukraine," the minister urged.
