The incident occurred on July 28 in the Vasylkiv territorial community. The police received a report from a father that unknown persons threw a bag of water from a seventh-floor window of an apartment building, which hit a baby stroller with a three-month-old child. Police officers and medics arrived at the scene.
The appeal was registered in the Unified Register of Applications and Reports of Criminal Offenses and Other Incidents.
Law enforcement officers established that two 14-year-old boys, while visiting a friend, decided to repeat what they had seen on social networks. They filled two transparent bags with water and threw them out of the window of the building. One of the bags hit the baby stroller with the infant.
Medics examined the child and, together with the mother, transported them to the hospital.
Police officers drew up administrative reports against the mothers of the two minor boys for failure of parents to fulfill their duties regarding the upbringing of children (Part 3 of Article 184 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses).
The materials will be sent to court for a decision in accordance with current legislation.
