Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin admitted that during a massive drone attack, UAVs managed to reach the Moscow Oil Refinery in the Kapotnya district. A fire broke out on the territory of the enterprise, UNN reports.

According to Sobyanin, on the morning of June 18, air defense forces allegedly destroyed 137 drones heading towards the Russian capital and the Moscow region.

Air defense forces continue to repel a massive attack. Several drones managed to reach the Moscow Oil Refinery. Measures are being taken to eliminate the consequences

Fire at the refinery and falling debris

Following the attack, a fire broke out on the territory of the Moscow Oil Refinery. At the same time, Sobyanin had previously reported drone debris falling on the territory of the "Sadovod" shopping center.

The Moscow Oil Refinery is one of the largest enterprises of its kind in the Russian capital and provides a significant portion of the region's fuel needs.
