Ukrainians are actively using the online service of applying for marriage through the Diia portal. The Minister of Digital Transformation announced the launch of an online video marriage option.
Ukrainians have already used the online service of filing a marriage application through the Diia portal more than 30 thousand times, said Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development - Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, announcing the launch of the possibility of online marriage via video link in Diia, UNN reports.
Previously, newlyweds had a long-distance race: they had to go to the registry office to file an application, choose the date and format of the ceremony, and then pay the state fee. A year and a half ago, the Diia portal launched an option to apply for marriage online, and more than 30,000 couples have already used the service.
