Ukraine's energy sector has stabilized the situation, but is preparing for the challenges of the fall and winter. Various scenarios are being considered, including possible attacks on the power system, and a working group with international partners has been set up.

Ukraine has managed to stabilize the situation in the energy sector. Power engineers continue to work, restore and repair, because the main challenge ahead is the autumn-winter period. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Svitlana Hrynchuk during a telethon, UNN reports.

"Today we have managed to stabilize the situation more, and this is primarily due to the round-the-clock work of power engineers. A lot has been restored and repaired, but this is only the minimum that has been done so far. Power engineers continue to work, continue to restore and repair, because we understand that the main challenge ahead is the autumn-winter period," said Hrynchuk.

When asked what Hrynchuk expects from the winter, she replied: "We are considering different scenarios. Of course, we are trying to restore and repair as many capacities as possible in the shortest possible time. However, we are preparing for different scenarios that may occur. We do not yet have a guarantee that the Russians will not continue to attack and destroy our power system.

She also noted that a special working group has been set up with our international partners to coordinate their assistance and the efforts made by the Ukrainian side.
