A report of the incident was received by the Kyiv police today around 3:00 p.m. It was preliminarily established that during a military medical commission, a 31-year-old man inflicted knife wounds on a surgeon's chest and arms. Police detained the attacker under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
Investigators have launched a pre-trial investigation under Part 2, Clause 8 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - premeditated murder. The sanction of the article provides for life imprisonment.
