Police in Kyiv region uncovered illegal fishing worth more than UAH 64,000.
In the Kyiv region, the police revealed a case of fish poaching worth more than 64,000 hryvnias. This was reported by the Kyiv Region Police, according to UNN.

As part of preventive measures to combat poaching, police officers from the Vyshhorod and Pirniv communities in Kyiv Oblast, together with water police officers from the Vyshhorod District Department, uncovered the fact of illegal fishing.
The offenders used prohibited fishing gear - nets made of fishing line. During the operation, law enforcement seized 37 fish. The damage to the state from this activity was estimated at over UAH 64,000.
The police launched a pre-trial investigation into illegal fishing and aquatic extraction under Article 249 (1) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
