Kyiv hosted the "Clean Sport Cup" with the participation of leading athletes

On April 17, the "Clean Sport Cup" - a team padel tournament and an award ceremony for anti-doping movement ambassadors - took place in Kyiv at the Racket Sports Park Kyiv. The event was timed to coincide with World Play True Day. This was reported by the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine and the national Olympic team of Ukraine, according to UNN.

The "Clean Sport Cup" brought together representatives of state institutions, the sports community, and leading Ukrainian athletes. The format of the team tournament allowed for combining competition with discussions on the importance of fair sport.

Play True Day is a global initiative of the World Anti-Doping Agency, which annually reaches millions of people in different countries. The campaign runs under the slogan "Play True. It starts with you" and emphasizes everyone's personal responsibility in sports.

The event was attended by Vadym Guttsait, President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, Olympic champion; Matviy Bidnyi, Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine; Serhiy Popyk, Director of the National Anti-Doping Center; and Andriy Rebryna, Director of the State Institution "Agency of Mass Sports of Ukraine."

Vadym Guttsait, President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine and Olympic champion, emphasized that the unity of the sports community is key to preserving our country's international authority:

Today, athletes, Olympians, and the entire large sports family of Ukraine have gathered here to jointly support the values of honest and clean sport. I thank the National Anti-Doping Center of Ukraine, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, athletes, and everyone who works daily to ensure that Ukrainian sport is clean, strong, and worthy.
