Yesterday, on November 3, Serhiy Mamoyan, a deputy of the Kyiv City Council, a member of the Kyiv City Council's Standing Committee on Transport, Communications and Advertising, died. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City Council, UNN reports.

"The deputy corps of the Kyiv City Council, Deputy Mayor - Secretary of the Kyiv City Council Volodymyr Bondarenko, the secretariat and staff express their sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deputy of the Kyiv City Council of the IX convocation Serhiy Mamoyan, who tragically died yesterday, November 03," the statement reads.

The city council said that Mamoyan was a member of the Kyiv City Council's Standing Committee on Transport, Communications and Advertising.

A number of media outlets report that the deputy was killed in an accident in Odesa region. The police of Odesa region report that a 40-year-old resident of Kyiv region, driving a Toyota SUV, lost control on a roundabout, drove off the roadway into a ditch, where the vehicle overturned and caught fire.

As a result of the accident, according to police, the driver and a 52-year-old woman in the front passenger seat of the car died at the scene, and two other passengers in the back seats were injured and hospitalized. The 51-year-old woman was diagnosed with bruises to her spine and upper limb, and the 55-year-old man suffered fractures to his collarbone and rib.

On October 25, 2020, Mamoyan was elected as a deputy of the Kyiv City Council of the 9th convocation on the list of the now banned OPFL.
