Journalists of the German TV channel ZDF survived the shelling of a Kharkiv hotel, one translator was injured.
During the Russian shelling of the Kharkiv Palace hotel in the center of Kharkiv, a team of the German TV channel ZDF was there. UNN reports this with reference to ZDF.
Details
The TV channel reported that for almost two years their journalists have been reporting almost daily on Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine.
Three members of the team were reportedly in rooms on the fifth floor of the hotel, another in the lobby and the last was on the 11th floor at the time of the strike. All survived. The interpreter was injured in the hotel lobby, she had a broken rib and three vertebrae.
According to the hotel manager, a total of 15 rooms were rented, at least ten of them to journalists.
