Israel bans mass rallies and suspends educational activities amid Iran's attack in response to an Israeli strike on the Iranian embassy compound in Damascus.
The Israeli Defense Forces have "changed the guidelines of defense" amid the Iranian attack, said Rafi Milo, commander of the Home Front Service. According to him, gatherings of more than 1,000 people and educational activities are prohibited in Israel, UNN reports.

Iran had previously announced the launch of dozens of unmanned aerial vehicles and missiles toward Israel. According to Israeli media, more than 100 drones were launched in total. The Israeli army began shooting them down over the territory of Syria and Jordan.
The Iranian attack was a response to an Israeli strike on the diplomatic quarter in Damascus, where the Iranian embassy complex is located. Two Iranian generals and five officers were killed. Western countries urged citizens not to visit the region.
