Instagram allows users to reorder posts in their profile grid

Instagram has enabled the ability to change the order of posts in the profile regardless of the publication date. Users can drag and drop posts via a new option in the grid.

Instagram has made it easier for users to create their desired profile grid design and aesthetic. The Meta-owned app has finally launched the ability to reorder posts in the grid—nearly a year after Instagram head Adam Mosseri announced the feature. This was reported by Engadget, according to UNN.

As noted by USA Today, starting today, users worldwide will be able to move posts regardless of their publication date.

The ability to reorder the Instagram grid remains one of the most anticipated features in the app, and Meta had been planning its implementation long before Mosseri announced it last year. Alessandro Paluzzi, known for reverse-engineering apps and finding unannounced tools, discovered an "edit grid" option in the Instagram app as far back as 2022.
If you are tired of the chronological order of your posts and want to rearrange them, simply go to your profile and long-press any post. Along with the "Pin to profile grid" and "Archive" buttons, you will now see a "Rearrange grid" option. Tap it to enter a separate window where you can drag and drop posts and regroup your content until your profile looks exactly how you want it. Note: any pinned post will remain at the top of your profile and will be grayed out in the "Rearrange grid" window,
