In Vinnytsia region, a private locomotive collided with the Intercity train Kyiv-Przemyśl

In the Vinnytsia region, at Brailiv station, a private locomotive had a side collision with the Intercity+ passenger train on the Kyiv-Przemyśl route. This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia, writes UNN.

All 576 passengers on board and railway workers were unharmed. They are waiting at the station for a train to pick them up.

Railway workers are collecting information from passengers about planned transfers and are already in contact with the border service so that all customs and border procedures are carried out as quickly as possible and train delays are minimized.

Ukrzaliznytsia is also negotiating with other railway operators to maximize transfer preservation.

It is noted that the incident will be thoroughly investigated. A team from Ukrzaliznytsia has gone to the scene to assist and clarify the circumstances of the incident.
