After a stay at a hotel in Transcarpathia, 12 people, including 8 children, were hospitalized with acute gastrointestinal disorders. The victims associate their condition with the consumption of drinking water at the hotel.

According to preliminary data, a group of graduates from Lutsk, together with their parents, were vacationing at a hotel in Zakarpattia. After returning home, twelve people, including eight children, sought medical help. All were hospitalized with acute gastrointestinal disorders.
The victims reported that they associate their condition with the consumption of drinking water provided to them at the hotel.
Currently, necessary procedural actions are being carried out and expert examinations have been ordered to determine the cause of the poisoning. Law enforcement officers are checking all possible versions, including whether the illness could be related to water from a well, water in the pool, or other factors.
