In the village of Romaniv, a 28-year-old woman was poisoned by fumes while cleaning a septic tank. A neighbor who tried to help also suffered and was hospitalized.
A woman died, a man is in hospital due to poisoning by fumes while cleaning a septic tank in the Lutsk district of the Volyn region, reported the Main Department of the National Police in the region on Friday, writes UNN.

Yesterday evening, the police received a report of an accident in the village of Romaniv, Lutsk district.
It was preliminarily established that a woman born in 1996 was poisoned by toxic fumes while cleaning a septic tank and lost consciousness. A neighbor, born in 1972, came to her aid, but he also fell ill.
Emergency medical workers worked at the scene.
"Despite resuscitation measures, the woman could not be saved. The man was hospitalized," the report says.
The information was entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Article 115 (with a note of accident) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Police are establishing all the circumstances of the accident.
