Two brothers from Kharkiv attempted to illegally cross the border via the Dniester River on jet skis. Border guards detained the offenders during their swim.
Border guards in the Vinnytsia region stopped an attempt to illegally cross the state border via the Dniester River. Two brothers decided to reach the neighboring country using underwater scooters. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service, according to UNN.

As noted, the violators turned out to be two brothers from Kharkiv, aged 32 and 34. To avoid meeting law enforcement, they traveled to the border area bypassing checkpoints. They then planned to swim across the Dniester to reach the neighboring country.
They approached the implementation of their plan thoroughly: they packed personal belongings in waterproof bags and brought underwater scooters to cross the river quickly
It is reported that the men failed to realize their plan. Border guards promptly detected and detained them directly during their "swim." The violators have been held administratively liable.
