The Russians damaged 123 cultural monuments of Ukraine in Odesa region, including 18 of national importance, the ICIP writes. It is also noted that the acting Minister of Culture and Information Policy Rostyslav Karandeyev inspected the cultural heritage monuments of Odesa damaged by Russian attacks during his working visit. These are the Odesa House of Scientists, the Odesa Art Museum, and the Odesa Transfiguration Cathedral.

The agency also emphasized that the Odesa region is actively working to identify, research and popularize intangible cultural heritage. Odesa region has added 10 items to the National List. It is noted that in 2023, three elements were added to the list.
